Native to streams and river systems throughout South America, Bronze Corydoras thrive in groups and should be kept with at least six individuals to encourage natural schooling behavior and reduce stress. Their active foraging and social interactions make them a constant source of interest as they explore the aquarium floor together.

These hardy fish are well-suited to both beginner and experienced aquarists. A soft substrate is recommended to protect their sensitive barbels, and they appreciate aquariums with plants, driftwood, and shaded areas for resting.
